A productive life is a life of value and progression. It is a life that takes you closer to your dreams, and we all want to do what it takes to achieve our goals. An organized life helps your productivity and saves you time as well. Living a productive life means making the most of every second of our time. It is not just about crossing things off a to-do list, it is a life of balance.


Can you answer these questions honestly?

-    How do you spend your most valuable time? 

-    Do you procrastinate? 

-    Do you wait for deadlines before getting work done? 

-    Do you spend all the time doing work and then have little or no time for yourself? 


Organizing your life gives you time to get things done and still have ample time for yourself. To achieve our dreams, the goal is not just to be productive, the goal is to stay productive and organized. How do you stay productive and organized?


Here are some ways you can stay productive and organized.

  1.   Wake up early: One of the best ways to start a day is to get up early in the  morning. It will help you to improve every aspect of your life and boost your productivity all over the day.
  2.   Exercise: Doing exercises in the morning, as simple as going for a run or a walk can improve your self-control and maintain your energy levels all day.
  3.   Eat a healthy breakfast: They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A healthy breakfast puts you on the path to having a productive day.
  4.   Stay hydrated: Drink lots of water.
  5.   Develop healthy habits
  6.   Review your day: At the end of each day, try to take an assessment of how your day went. Did you achieve all you set out to do? In not, in what ways can you improve.
  7.   Don’t waste time. Spend every time doing something valuable to yourself.
  8.   Take some time to reward yourself when you achieve your goals or complete your to-do list for the day...
  9.   Write down your goals, long term, short term. 
  10.   Have a to-do list, a daily task list, a done list so you can keep track of how you are spending your time.
  11.   Make use of task management apps.
  12.   Tidy up at the end of the day so you can start anew on a new day.
  13.   Prepare for the next day, the previous day.
  14.   Declutter.
  15.   Don’t be too hard on yourself. Understand that it is a process, and it takes time. Also, understand that life happens and give yourself time to make mistakes and learn from them.
  16.   Take time off to relax and rest and recharge.

Rinse and repeat.


In summary, you cannot separate organization from productivity. An organized life is one of the keys to staying productive. Living a productive life means making the most of every second - which can often mean getting stuff done, but can also sometimes mean knowing to take a break when you need it most.
